The Immediate DB4E antenna is a sort of indoor antenna that is passive. Unlike other types of antennas, the Direct DB4E antenna does not require any sort of wire or any sort of cable to be run from the source of electricity (the house) to the desired direction. This means that you don’t need to place your antenna close to an extension cable, or as in the case of a battery controlled antenna, have to run a heavy extension cord to your preferred location from a wall outlet.
So what makes the Immediate DB4E antenna different? Well, it utilizes two types of antennas to give coverage that is good .
The type of antenna is the equivalent of a half-wave dipole, or a set of dipoles for short. What this does is that it places the outer portion of the antenna at a"Dipole configuration" or configuration which will have one side of the antenna pointing down and the other at a high angle. You just set the angle to use the DB4E for long ranges, and all you have to do is point the antenna where you want it. The antenna is considered to be an omni-directional antenna, because the two ends are angled.
The second type of antenna is a monopole. What this does is it places the center portion of the antenna in a Dipole configuration. This placement will put the center of the antenna at a distance from the surface that will be equal to the distance between two points on the earth’s surface of the earth.
These two antennas are effective with respect to transmitting and receiving signals in their best possible frequencies, and, additionally, in being lightweight and compact, so they can be put in the spaces. The configuration options are able to cover virtually all the frequencies that are available.
The antennas were especially designed to meet specific needs for various locations. As such, the receivers are optimized for the reception of low and medium range signals, while the transmitters are optimized for a frequency signal’s transmission. Including; the uses of the DB4E are for long range reception and medium range.
DB4e should compare models, when you are interested in buying an immediate DB4E antenna. It does not hurt to purchase an antenna together with the specifications that you need, Although it is true that not all of them are equivalent.
